I'm going with Landeskog. Watch it be Cooke.sachmoney said:I'll take Stastny.
It took me forever to figure out how to embed that tweet too.The Napkin said:*shakes fist*
Ryan Miller is sad to be omitted from this list.kenneycb said:I just realized Ott, Lapierre and Sobotka all play on the Blues. That is one hell of an annoying (and cheap, minus Sobotka) team.
Yea, I think the statute of limitations is up on all his past incidents of attempted murder.Ed Hillel said:So is Cooke a "non-repeat offender" under the new rules? That asshole deserves 15 games for that.
Well, he hasn't really earned the benefit of the doubt.MoGator71 said:Yea, I think the statute of limitations is up on all his past incidents of attempted murder.
He really kind of cut the shit for almost 3 seasons (unless you think Karlsson was intentional, I guess).
Yeah, that was just such a blatant attempt to ruin someone's knee I think it should be 6-7 for a non-repeat offender and given Cooke's history...ugh, what a scumbag.MoGator71 said:Yea, I think the statute of limitations is up on all his past incidents of attempted murder.

In person hearing scheduled... Hope the league doesn't back down on this one. Remainder of the playoffs plus a few next season, similar to the penalty Raffi Torres got for his hit on Hossa a few seasons ago. Sends teams a message that if you are going to employ these pieces of shit that you will lose them when manpower is most important.Ed Hillel said:Yeah, that was just such a blatant attempt to ruin someone's knee I think it should be 6-7 for a non-repeat offender and given Cooke's history...ugh, what a scumbag.
Almost like he was playing with two anchors all playoffs. Oh, except he had a jillion shots anyway.kenneycb said:Tyler Seguin made a good play leading to a goal just now.
That is also an answer to "Sentences pretty much never uttered during the B's playoff run last year."
It won't be as bad as Torres since he's not a repeat offender under the new rules. Probably something like 7 games.timlinin8th said:In person hearing scheduled... Remember that they take injuries into account. I think the torn MCL gets even the cleanest of players an in-person. With Cooke, it should be that number of games plus death by zamboni.cshea said:I'm pleasantly surprised that Quintal is going the in-person route. I'm not convinced he'll end up getting more than 5, but at the very least they are taking his history into account and not falling for the "he's rehabilitated!" narrative. As bad as the hit was, I'm not sure they would've had an in-person hearing if it was someone without Cooke's background.
