When do we start to panic? Can it be now? I’m going with now.

I need to stop having parties for CL finals. Nothing like getting up early to start a brisket and then wanting nothing to do with food.

Carragher saying lots of Liverpool fans not in their seats yet… speculates problems outside the stadium?

California. Duh.
Seeing plenty of tweets (not just from supporters but onsite media) that the "fans arrived late" is bullshit, and that the organization outside the stadium has been terrible.

For future reference, who should I call if I’ve stayed late at the bar and I don’t want to miss any of the match? Asking for a friend.

CBS speculating now that tear gas has been used? The overhead shot shows a ton of fans in red standing outside of the Liverpool side of the stadium.

Why does it seem like soccer has this gate-crashing problem over and over again, and like, only soccer?

There is an obvious and unfortunate historical parallel of incompetent authorities blaming Liverpool fans for the authorities' own crowd-control mismanagement.

I'm going to lose my mind if I have to keep hearing these people say the same thing over and over again for another half hour before the match starts.

Oh, at least now there's the spectacle of the "ceremony" to distract me - the talking heads repeating themselves might be better.

So are the opening ceremony performers tied to the nations competing?

Will we get a fish and chips eating spectacle next?

I don’t think that the Stade de France hosts any club, right? And I suspect that for national team games there is not a huge number of visiting fans that need a separate entrance. Maybe like two sections.

When FIFA come in with their own ticket distribution and technology systems I think it is just a potential for problems in these one off events.

I'm sure Real will have their moments, but Liverpool look pretty clearly superior in the first 20 minutes. There's a chance the vibes run out and this ends up pretty one-sided.

My YouTube TV feed is like 10FPS. When the ball moves quickly it appears and disappears. Great work, guys.

Don’t know if it’s the camera angle or the distance from the pitch or a crowd full of vips but this game feels sterile and dull
