Bears have a decent chance to go 6-10. Vegas puts them at 6.5 wins (over -130 / under +110). That gets them in the #9-#12 range in the first round and #41-45 range in the second.
So, BB essentially this year's #43 second-rounder for a similar spot in 2019 + 3rd rounder in 2019 + #178 this year.
Yeah, so let’s evaluate it like this.
What did the Patriots end up giving up? Two things.
1) Overall 63 pick. Worth 276 points on the chart.
2) The Delta of the value of the 43d pick and the Dawson pick. Worth 130 points on the chart.
So, 416 points in value.
What did they get?
1) Pick 178, That’s 20 points.
2) Bears 2019 second. Let’s conservatively put that at 2(15). That’s 430 points.
3) Lions 2019 third. Let’s conservatively put that at 3(22). That’s 160 points.
That’s 610 points, being very conservative. It will probably be closer to 700 points. I don’t know how to discount for the one year postponement.
