Icognito retired on April 10 while stating his liver and kidneys were shutting down. On April 14, he announced he had a change of heart. The Bills didn’t exactly welcome the news that their Pro Bowl guard was returning. They already knew what kind of guy he was when they signed him. I have to assume they saw first hand he was losing his mind and were dreading the inevitable meltdown.
Yes. I assumed he was arrested. Wrong. He was temporarily and involuntarily civilly committed.
Up to $2M for one year. I'd say it's more likely he pulls a T.O. and doesn't make the team than he does make the team. I just hope he's costing the vet minimum with incentives so they can get a break on the cap.

Man, that article gives me mixed feelings. It’s a really beautiful piece in some ways about the brotherhood in football – De Bartolo has always struck me as a really good person.
But in another, it’s got this weirdly apologetic approach to CTE and lays on thick the excuses for Roger Goodell. And for it to end on “I wouldn’t change a thing”? What the hell do you expect a guy dying of ALS to say?

2 callers on Toucher & Rich this morning alluded to something. One was the guy who called into Beetle and Zo the other day that essentially "broke" the JE suspension news and the other guy claimed to know someone in the building. both said something is coming this afternoon.
Seems like this is coming from 2-3 different places at this point. Bracing myself / stocking up on the booze.
There was actually a twitter user who posted the Edelman thing on May 7 who says more news coming today. I don't think they are the same guy based on this tweet.
