Yeah he was already disrupting things. He won't be back tonightI feel bad for Adams. Can't catch a break.
Yup. Right elbow was down, but I don’t think you’d be able to say that for sure on grass. (The spray of turf pellets is what clinched it for me.)Wow that's close
The key thing about that run on 3erd down is it went to Gary Brightwell, who now has 5 carriers on the year for 10 yards. On the most important plays of the game, you definitely want to give it to a guy you never play.Just kick a fg. Your team sucks, take the points.
He was talking this week that the injuries piling up had him thinking of retirement.Yeah he was already disrupting things. He won't be back tonight
Peyton said that's the problem of going no huddle. You have to take a second and check to ensure everyone is accounted for in the blocking assignments. Jones didn't.How did he not see that slot blitz? That wasn’t well disguised
Because Pete is beloved by most and BB is not.Just curious. If BB should be on the hot seat for being mediocre the last few years (after the greatest run in NFL history), given his age as well, why isn't Pete Carroll in the same situation?
Last 3 seasons: 7-10, 9-8, 2-1 (18-19), 0-1 in the playoffs, and he's 72 (a half year older than BB).
If the Seahawks suck this year, I assume he will be.Just curious. If BB should be on the hot seat for being mediocre the last few years (after the greatest run in NFL history), given his age as well, why isn't Pete Carroll in the same situation?

Because SEA fans - by and large - aren't spoiled little whiners that can't remotely handle reality vis a vis how hard it is to assemble a winning team in the NFL?Just curious. I can't pick on Pete, and I understand I might be alone in this, but I think he got a raw deal in NE. The team had atrocious injury luck during his tenure.Just curious. I think Pete buys a lot of goodwill because he's not an asshole. Last year he also overperformed expectations by a considerable margin.Just curious. Seahawks made the playoffs last season. If they go 8-9 this season and start next season 1-3, Carroll’s seat will be getting warm — which BB’s is not, complaints on this site notwithstanding.Just curious. That contract is reminiscent of the one Baltimore gave to Flacco in that it seemed like they were overpaying drastically because they had no other perceived options, although Flacco was coming off his best stretch of play in the Ravens SB run.It could be worse for us Patriots fans. At least we don’t have Daniel Jones locked in at 4 years/$160 million.
Yeah, I think that's right. Carroll has only had a year and a few games to deal with the departure of his franchise quarterback. The team was poor in Wilson's last year there, but when a guy accounts for that much of the cap and has won you a Super Bowl, what can you do. Pete is going to be judged by what he does in the post-Wilson era, and (1) it's still early days, and (2) as you note he made the playoffs in his first year without Wilson.Seahawks made the playoffs last season. It's going to be interesting when the time comes for Mac.It could be worse for us Patriots fans. At least we don’t have Daniel Jones locked in at 4 years/$160 million.
Right now, it's a no brainer that Mac won't get another contract unless he starts playing way better. It's going to be interesting when the time comes for Mac.
The Falcons are not great on the field but pretty well run. I think they will pay him well but not unreasonably so.It's going to be interesting when the time comes for Mac.
Yeah I mean that was basically a horse collar tackle without technically being one as Aikman said.I'm a little shocked there was no flag there.
There’s no doubt the flag flies if that’s Mahomes.Yeah I mean that was basically a horse collar tackle without technically being one as Aikman said.
The NFL overall is a pretty bad product. Will Ferrell the only things saving this terrible game.
