Anyone listening to MLB on Sirius right now? They're saying how word is that nobody wants to go to Houston. Players, staff, coaches...everyone is staying far away.
It's not that surprising. Everyone probably is waiting to see what the sanctions will be in the cheating scandal before they commit to going there. Rosenthal said they won't figure out any penalties until after the season starts.Anyone listening to MLB on Sirius right now? They're saying how word is that nobody wants to go to Houston. I mean what else can be said but, good. They deserve to have this stigma attached to them.Anyone listening to MLB on Sirius right now? They're saying how word is that nobody wants to go to Houston. Players, staff, coaches...everyone is staying far away.
Lux and May? wow. Get Rendon instead and go for Syndergaard with that package.
losing cole to the yankees couldnt have helped much either. If Urias and Buehler come around and be what they can be, that is an amazing rotationDave Roberts said yesterday on MLBN that he expects more player turnover for the Dodgers this winter than they've had in recent seasons, they're feeling pressure to make a big move to get them over the top. Someone wrote today that it's been so long since the Dodgers won a World Series that Murphy Brown premiered just after the last one (not a joke, in case that's not clear).
Yeah, they were pretty quiet about it but the reports that came out right after said that they had been planning to go after Cole hard for a long time. Their bids topped out around $300M but might have gone higher if Cole hadn't picked NY, the sense from all was that was where he wanted to be.losing cole to the yankees couldnt have helped much either. Teams can come calling, but the Indians aren't trading Lindor this winter unless it's for a package too ludicrous to turn down.Lux and May? wow. Get Rendon instead and go for Syndergaard with that package.
Which May and Lux is.Teams can come calling, but the Indians aren't trading Lindor this winter unless it's for a package too ludicrous to turn down.
I think I missed this---what post? That reddit post from yesterday keeps looking good. Now let's see if they trade for Price.
Someone posted on reddit saying angels were out on Cole so they were getting Rendon and trading for Price.I think I missed this---what post?
Cole is out. Cozart is getting traded. We’re gonna trade for David Price. Rendon and Ryu are our top targets.
They also have Tommy La Stella and Jo Adell will come upYou can really start putting together some lineups for Anaheim.
LH Calhoun RF
RH Trout CF
RH Rendon 3B
LH Ohtani DH
RH Fletcher 2B
RH Pujols 1B
LH Goodwin LF
RH Lucroy C
RH Simmons SS
Now they just need some healthy pitching.
Good point. La Stella really helps with R/L balance. They also have Tommy La Stella and Jo Adell will come up
Another good point.Calhoun is a FA.
He's put together 3 great seasons in a row, has shown he's a winner, but $35M AAV seems high. If he's worth $35, Betts is $45 and Trout is $50.
This is hilarious. I hope they are good friends.
Pretty clever by Manfred, even if unintentional. The penalties are beginning now before the penalty is even in place. It's not that surprising. Everyone probably is waiting to see what the sanctions will be in the cheating scandal before they commit to going there. Rosenthal said they won't figure out any penalties until after the season starts.
There's speculation on who it actually was since the person deleted their account right after. Some posters said it was the Lakers insider who leaked the Kawhi interest and the AD deal being done before the media had it. I guess it makes sense geographically. So by the posters logic the next domino to drop is the Price trade. Lets see what happens. This is the Reddit post.
