You’re familiar with the Chargers in big games, yes?If Chargers can stop killing themselves on defense, this is theirs
Good luck. We saw what happened after they made PI reviewable. The refs sabotaged it and forced the NFL to scrap that changeIt feels to me like they should get rid of uncatchable. If the assumption is that everything is catchable why have a rule that only leads to confusion.
The penalty for PI is just way too much more significant than the disadvantage caused by the infraction if we are assuming every receiver has super powers. Either make catchability a significant component of the penalty or make it a max 15 yards and automatic first down.
I thought Rivers took the schtick with him post retirementYou’re familiar with the Chargers in big games, yes?
It feels like everyone forgets and is taking this game seriously.
It is the Chargers, folks.
It is already the rule though. It is just administered in a very fucked up way. Either call it or abandon it.Good luck. We saw what happened after they made PI reviewable. The refs sabotaged it and forced the NFL to scrap that change
Good point. I guess we will see. Skeptical ….I thought Rivers took the schtick with him post retirement
Im surprised by your choice. I would not think the Bills would be your preference. Their pass D can give Mac problems moreso than the other options.Chargers win, pats pay cincy Steelers are in
Raiders win, pats play Buffalo Steelers are out
Hate to say it but go Raiders. i really want another shot at the bills and would love Big Ben to be done. That said, the absolute best outcome of this game is a tie and if it somehow goes into OT, it is going to be fascinating.
I agree. They could lose in Cincinnati as well, but Buffalo is a tough match for themIm surprised by your choice. I would not think the Bills would be your preference. Their pass D can give Mac problems moreso than the other options.

Rules created by people, determined by people ... good luck getting consistencyThe thing I always find weird about catchabilty on PI is that the same standard isn’t applied to holding on runs. A hold is a hold, even if the runner is on the other side of the field, running through a hole that isn’t the result of an infraction. So you’d think PI would act in the same way.
I actually don’t think this is true re: offensive holding. If a hold occurs away from the so called ‘point of attack’ and not on the line, eg, a Wr on the opposite end of the field behind the play, it isn’t considered holding. The thing I always find weird about catchabilty on PI is that the same standard isn’t applied to holding on runs. Correct, holding isn’t a foul away from the play unless it’s a takedownI actually don’t think this is true re: offensive holding. If a hold occurs away from the so called ‘point of attack’ and not on the line, eg, a Wr on the opposite end of the field behind the play, it isn’t considered holding.
I was thinking about OLmen. Wasn’t clear.I actually don’t think this is true re: offensive holding. If a hold occurs away from the so called ‘point of attack’ and not on the line, eg, a Wr on the opposite end of the field behind the play, it isn’t considered holding.
With all of the injuries today, would have preferred the Monday game.So Pats are Saturday regardless?
It just feels to me as though refs have abdicated catchability with the blessing of the league. Which is fine. If the idea is that there is too much subjectivity in reffing as it is and we can’t ask them to judge it, fine. That is a valid position. The thing I always find weird about catchabilty on PI is that the same standard isn’t applied to holding on runs. Pats can hang with anyone in the AFC, I think. They could also be 1 and done. I would go for the favorable matchups. It’s going to be who it’s going to be but I am interested in the psychology of who people want and why.Patriots ain’t winning the Super Bowl.
Taking out the Bills wouldn’t be quite as satisfying as the Red Sox taking out the Yankees this year but same principle.
I guess getting a more winnable game increases the odds of getting Mac a little bit more experience. But there is more potential upside in playing the Bills for a team that is not going to win 4 in a row any way.
I think we have our answer about whether it was Rivers.Idiots
Indy?I don’t wanna hear about fucking fourth and 2 anymore
And not Marty either it appearsI think we have our answer about whether it was Rivers.
Every night Kliff Kingsbury prays “please don’t let them fire Staley, so that I am never higher than number 2.”Brandon Staley is the dumbest coach in the league
