Patriots ain’t winning the Super Bowl.

Taking out the Bills wouldn’t be quite as satisfying as the Red Sox taking out the Yankees this year but same principle.

I guess getting a more winnable game increases the odds of getting Mac a little bit more experience. But there is more potential upside in playing the Bills for a team that is not going to win 4 in a row any way.
I don't think the Patriots are likely to win the SuperBowl, but if they were it would be because they got to match up their strengths (pass D, running, passing vs. zone) against an offense that wants to pass, and avoid their weaknesses (run D, throwing the ball vs. man).

I think the Patriots in neutral weather have little chance of stopping BUF's running game, or passing well on them.
I feel much better about the Patriots D against the very pass heavy Bengals.

If the other games go chalk, you get a TEN team you already beat and with a win you're into a game with the Bills or Chiefs for a SB trip. If there are upsets you likely play the Chiefs a week earlier, but with the potential of a team you already beat (LAC or TEN) in the Title game, and KC is a pass heavy team that has been up and down.

I can't understand why sometimes it's perfectly fine to pile drive the QB and other times it's an obvious 15 yards. I mean that sack was what was described to me as "obvious and called 99 percent of the time" earlier this year, and I've seen like 20 more like it since then not called.

Just a little short
Unbelievably dumb call there. I mean, wow.
I don’t wanna hear about fucking fourth and 2 anymore
Holy shit.
What.

the.

fuck.
Oh man. What the shit.
They deserve to lose for that.
Can never say they didn't go for it
Staley lol
Brandon Staley is the dumbest coach in the league
So much for the Chargers no longer doing Chargers things
I'm so glad to have seen that live. What a ridiculous ridiculous move.
I think we have our answer about whether it was Rivers.
That 4th down call is one of the dumbest I have ever seen.

That's after seeing the Giants 3rd and 9 QB sneak earlier today.
If you’re going to go for it in that situation, at least call a trick play or something…
the 4th down bot/ analytics were in favor of it

Also, personally I am sick to death of Bills Mafia. I’d prefer to play anyone else, just to avoid another week of listening to those clowns.

I love advanced analytics in baseball. Really like them in football, too.

Any analytics that says you should go for it on your own 18 sucks. Back it up with as much data as you want. A first down at your own 18 with 80 yards to go is not worth risking handing the ball to the other team at the 18. Full stop.

This isn't fucking Madden.

I watched this Chargers team get pantsed by the Pats and lose to Houston so, yeah I can seem them missing the playoffs and losing this game.

Meanwhile ... is the Raiders interim coach (whatever his name is) earning himself the gig for next year?

So it's looking like we are inching closer to Buffalo at 8:15 on Saturday. On one hand, there's lots of football left. On the other, it's the Chargers.

Funny part is that in the messed up AFC they might actually end up in the Super Bowl. Winning four on the trot to get into the playoffs in the last regular season game of the year? Sometimes it is about who is hot when.

They make noise in the playoffs they gotta keep him.

I still can't tell if the Raiders are a good team or not. They have 5 wins against teams over .500 (today would be 6) which would put them among the best in the league. But they also lost to the Bears, Giants, and (at home) Washington.
