I assumed they called up their entire G league team. How do the Grizz have eight active players and eleven on the injured list?
I don't know, I sort of like keeping it aliveScal distributing Tommy Points just feels wrong.
Oh, I do, too. I guess I just don't care for Scalabrine.I don't know, I sort of like keeping it alive
It would be fun if Max gave them outOh, I do, too. I guess I just don't care for Scalabrine.
Good call on the 406p start. Interesting.
I've never seen an injury report like what Memphis is putting out there. This is going to be a very weird game, with the Cs in a weird spot. If they do anything other than win by 40, it's going to freak people out, and no matter who you are or what you're playing, "blowout or lose" is a sucky spot to be in mentally. It feels no-win. Good test.
It'd be less sad than this. The quality is brutal, but the quantity is just as bad. When was the last time a team lost by 40 and still had to have a couple starters on the court at the final whistle because the losing team had literally no one else to throw out there? If you ever wanted to know what a Boston Celtics vs Maine Celtics game would look like—-there it is, more or less
And three hardship exemptions.I assumed they called up their entire G league team.
Yeah I dunno Johnny, I feel like it honors him, in a way that he'd most want to be remembered - focusing on the invisible but winning plays that don't show up on the stat sheet but end up mattering, and are the result of hard work and drive. Team over individual. For a Celtics lifer that was a pillar of the franchise for 60 years, I got nothing against Scal keeping that going, even if he himself is a bit of a putz. At some point it will feel dated because many viewers simply weren't around when Tommy was handing 'em out, but he's got years of run left on that one imo.Scal distributing Tommy Points just feels wrong.
