He apparently found his switch. (Thank the baseball gods.)Tanner's got A-grade stuff today.
He is showing (at least) four distinct pitches, with reasonable command of the splitter. Bodes well, I agree.Have a good feeling about Houck. Think he's gonna make a pretty compelling case to stay in the rotation
Same experience here. This happens s little too frequently for my liking. I just keep checking back during the telecast. Sometimes they get it fixed, sometimes they don't.Has anyone with FIOS been able to watch the NESN 4k channel? Yesterday early on in the game the feed for it died and since then it's just been broadcasting a generic menu.
Yea, I remember it going in and out far too often last season too. At least I know it's still on their end and not mine.Same experience here. This happens s little too frequently for my liking. I just keep checking back during the telecast. Sometimes they get it fixed, sometimes they don't.
Wong's called a good game, and gotten some calls at the bottom of the zone, too.Terrific start for Houck. He’s a different pitcher when he gets ahead of hitters.
I am glad that we haven't seen how good he is this year at throwing guys out on the base-paths---glad the situation hasn't arisen, but I am interested.Wong's called a good game, and gotten some calls at the bottom of the zone, too.
He's getting fooled on stuff, but that happens to everyone. He's hit some lasers, but they've been foul mostly. The infield contact hit has been weak. . .but I see no reason why he won't hit. He certainly does not look lost or uncomfortable.VPN issues again so I’m listening along. How’s Yoshida looking in the box?
In fairness, neither have youHouck hasn't changed.
Apparently fireworks are sooner.Irvin has settled in nicely but he's got an inning left. I'm expecting fireworks then, and maybe sooner.
I just want him to be GREAT!In fairness, neither have you
