I have seen this several times in game threads. Is there a reason people think he won't be back?
He has a player option next year for $13.4MM. He'll be back. Seen multiple interviews with him and his wife on how much they absolutely love Boston.

He's always sitting by Cora too in the dugout. He's a student of the game and will be a great coach like Varitek someday.

Thing is, though, he gets $7M if he opts out. I hope he is back, and I hope he loves it here enough to pick up the option, but I suspect he opts out and they make a new deal if he does come back.

Money well spent.

Those ABs were white flags. Or maybe the book is to swing early and often against Llovera but given what we've seen of the dude, I'd take pitches

DOB just said Kutter's career ERA vs the MFY is 1.89. Meanwhile the Yankees can see Schreiber well. Two hard hit balls. Tread lightly AC!
Why use the bullpen if Crawford is pitching well? Still have to win tomorrow and then 4 in Houston. I like Schreiber. But he should be saved for high leverage.

Bello, Houck and Kutter. 3/5 of the rotation now and the next 3-5 years. How does a guy learn to pitch deep into games if he is not allowed the opportunity?

The Sox are playing well and are kicking the MFY asses. We can let AC have a break for today. Or at least I will. Everyone else can do them.

Three more outs. Get them quickly, and less chance of having to use the bathroom in this dump and pick up syphilis.
