I have been surprised by how well the Sox have hit him so far. I was afraid of a no-no.

I wonder what would happen if a team just committed to sending runners in every situation in which it could. Like just do it all year. I don't mean pop ups with a man on third. But like constantly just send the runner. Man on first and a double with two out. Auto-send. Put the contact play on every time. Guy on second, single. Send him. I guess if teams know you are doing it, it's a thing, but the reward is that if they try to throw the runner out, not only do you get the base, but the batter will sometimes be safe too.

yep. on (sort of) plus side, he's only gone over 100 pitches once all year (102 on July 1) and is at 52 pitches now
Ump scorecard says 23. He missed a lot but it looks like his zone was relatively consistent such as it was. He called a very wide strike zone, but a very narrow vertical zone.
