15 of 20 appearances he has given up 0 ER. In fairness, in one of those, he did give up 4 runs and so was not good even though he should have been out of the inning. So, 14 of 20. In 3 he has given up 1 ER, with a couple of multiple inning appearances.
The problem is that in a couple of appearances he has been beaten pretty badly. He came into a game where the Red Sox win percentage was less than 20 percent tonight. A guy who can avoid making it worse 70 percent of the time is actually not bad for that situation.
For all the pissing and moaning about Llovera, he's about to be in line for the win when Wilyer E. Coyote Abreu goes three-person Johnson in top 8.
