I'd like to hear about this, too. A while back I asked about defamation, and now McNally has been defamed (in the plain meaning of the word) over Boston airways as a "shady, shady character". At the time of my original question, I was asked about what false statement this would be based on. I would say "there was an impartial investigation that found it more probable than not that McNally and Jastremski are sneaks, cheats and liars" -- which is what the Wells Report boils down to.nolasoxfan said:Indeed. Would the lawyers here care to weigh in? If innocent, what sort of legal recourse do these two have?
There's also the wrongful termination angle. I've heard it say that this won't work because they're "at will". I'd like to think that there's some legal protection even in these cases.
