So you're saying that was a money shot? The resurgent ADAM DUVALL is resurging all over your asses!
No need to temper it. He's very legit and will play first for the Sox for the next decadeTrying to temper my excitement about this kid, but that's a fucking big league at bat right there.
He's hopefully the 5th starter next year after the next offseason makeover.Sale would be the fifth starter in 2004 Red Sox rotation. Pedro, Schilling, Lowe and Wakefield were all better than him this year and that's not even putting Bronson Arroyo in the mix. One more year of that 30 million dollar contract and the Red Sox owners and fans will pop champagne together. Lol
He invented the high five, you know.Thank you Dusty for being so patient with the hook.
You'd have thunk Papi did that
I'm thrilled that he swung at strikes this time. Baby steps. He has to hit that ball. That's horrible. How did he miss that pitch?
Pretty rare to see a guy have three swings and misses without even fouling a ball off, unless it's against a flamethrower. Story did it against salad. Ok, this guy touches 97, but that last pitch was just a cookie.I'm thrilled that he swung at strikes this time. Baby steps.
Yeah by itself it was , but Story was geared up for 97 and that slider came in at 86. That change of speeds can make all the difference.Pretty rare to see a guy have three swings and misses without even fouling a ball off, unless it's against a flamethrower. He was doing that last year, but he just wasn't making good contact with strikes. That has changed this year.Casas just has that preternatural sense that most guys can’t dream of. Sees the ball out of the hand, tracks it well, picks up the spin, and is really just not bothered. And of course knows the strike zone in and out. Really exciting development as the season has progressed. He’s a major middle of the order bat in the making/already here.
I took a 30 minute nap and missed an inning. How is this game only in the 5th inning? JFC Javier
Ticky tack, but the first walk was only his second batterBig mistake giving this guy another inning. And a bigger mistake not pulling him after the first walk. And now they are still leaving him in? Unreal
