Gonna go watch th end of regulation SFA v VCU last year to get that out of my head.mabrowndog said:And the baseball shot at the buzzer hits the back of the rim. Wow.
I was pulling like hell for SFB.

As an alumni I love it. Putting 20 on them in Vegas to win it all. Anything can happen!Red Averages said:
exactly my thoughts, very excited! Not just for these players, but all the alumni who have been dissapointed for years. This will be huge for getting the campus involved in NU sports, alumni connection, recruiting for athletics, etc etc. Huge.
If they can play like they did for the first 36 minutes, they may have a shot at pulling a game out. Will be interesting to see what seed they are, but 2 weeks straight of people talking about NU sports can only be good for the future.

Bad night...taking BYU lightly....looking ahead to The Dance. Whatever the reason that was a throwaway game to me in judging this team. The Zags are for real and have the pieces to go the distance this year.wibi said:Gonzaga is looking much stronger tonight v. BYU in the WCC championship game than they did last week versus BYU
Thanks, watching Missouri/South Carolina right now. Was just curious if any of the smaller conference games were streamed anywhere as I did not see any showing up on the ESPN app.tims4wins said:
ESPN streams all their games online... they have the ACC tournament among others.
mabrowndog said:Many of the small-conference games are streamed via the conferences' and/or teams' web sites. Some require subscriptions. Yes, you'll need to hunt for them because preparing a list would be exhaustive, but that's what Google is for.
In other news, UMass looked like shit in the first half vs LaSalle. Completely unsurprising -- and uninspiring.
Theyll blow it, Rck Barnes is still the coach.tims4wins said:Texas up 9 on Iowa State. Would be huge to keep their hopes alive.

Coach McKillop is a master. If he was at a Power Five school, we'd be talking about him like we talk about Coach K, Roy Williams, Jim Calhoun, Jim Boeheim, etc. as one of the best and most successful coaches of all time. He hit the jackpot with Steph Curry, but I've been following his teams for over a decade and he is one of the best. He finds talent at literally every corner of the globe and makes it fit into his system.mabrowndog said:Holy fucking shit.
Davidson escapes after trailing La Salle for all but 18 seconds of this game, and by as many as 18 points. They toss a layup off the backboard that bounced around atop the rim like a TPiR Plinko chip for the final 3 seconds before dropping in for the winning bucket.
I was 100% convinced we'd see a major A-10 upset in this game, but instead it's ten straight wins for the Wildcats.
mabrowndog said:* Kentucky up by just 2 on Florida as the 2nd half gets underway.

Speaking of which, it's a 4 pm EDT start. NBC has the rights but they're not putting it on NBCSN due to prior commitments (Premier League GoalZone, some fucking equestrian competition, and the Volvo Ocean yachting race).
Instead, it's on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area (CSNBA), which is offered nationally but typically on a tiered subscriber package. However, it'll be streamed on ESPN3 and it also airs on NESN Plus where available. Other local outlets in NY and the mid-Atlantic states will probably be doing the same, so check your listings.
