Haha. I forgot about Whiteside. Yeah - ESPN is nuts. Bradley might not be top 15.

I'll take a longer look at this sometime.
He probably turned out as well as anyone else who was available at that pock given Stephenson's and Whiteside's issues.

I don't think Bradley goes top 10 either, and Sullinger goes towards the bottom of the top 10... This is not so impressive for 13 years.
This feels kinda unfair without context.

I'm going to only judge his first ten years drafting for Boston, I think the jury is still out on Olynyk, Smart and obviously Rozier.

He made 12 first round picks(I'm counting the guys he kept, so Rondo, not Troy Bell) from 2003-2012. The highest pick he made was #13.

In those 12 he got Rondo, Al Jefferson, Tony Allen, Kendrick Perkins, Jared Sullinger, Avery Bradley, and Delonte West.

Two disappointments, but still played a decent amount in the league in Marcus Banks and Gerald Green.

The only straight misses were Marcus Banks, JR Giddens, Jujuan Johnson and Fab Melo. all picked #22 or later.

Considering where he was picking, I'd say that's a pretty good draft track record.

You can probably make an argument for any order from 8-14. Point is, they picked him 19th. People (not you, necessarily) get upset about Fab Melo, but sometimes teams pick Fab Melos 2nd. Ask Memphis about Hassan Thabet. Drafting is hard. Ainge has done more than well enough given where he's picked.

Spurs just draft a Serbian kid who took up basketball because Swimming was too violent for him

to be fair, it's Serbia, I assume even chess in Serbia is pretty rough.

Byron Scott on truth serum: "well if Randive will take Russell and Randle, I won't have to talk about how he fits in our roster..."

Don't necessarily hate the pick because I'd like to see Bradley out the door regardless. Team just needs length so badly though. No SF or C worth anything on the roster as it stands right now.

Definitely didn't want to blow the Brooklyn wad on a prospect, so that's a win I guess.

Larry Nance btw is your reach of the first round. A lot of people thought he wasn't going to be drafted at all.

Didn't Golden State just win after benching their Center? This is Danny's strategy!

Hunter at 16 and Rozier at 28 and I doubt anyone would be too upset. So I'm OK now.

Nice pick,  given how long it took, I have the feeling he is heading elsewhere

Canton MA
The wild card for the cs is james young.

If bradley gets dealt (i think he will)

Pg- thomas and dozier
Wing: smart young hunter

Thats not a horrific rotation IF young can realize his potential.

Hunter needs to check out the Journey to Swolehalla thread tho. Man. 6 6 185? Hes gotta put on 20lbs

Young is really smooth on the court and has a good stroke. His ceiling is Bradley Beal to me. Hunter is going to be a rotation at best.
