I cant remember watching a big man shoot like LMA. I noticed it in the first game against the Celtics this year. I would love to know how much that guy practiced those mid range shots. He and Lillard are a great combo, I'm very envious of Portland fans.
His high release point kind of reminds me of The Chief.

Im glad Kenny said that was a travel on Howard running down the lane because I looked up the rule after that play since no one mentioned that Howard travelled on the broadcast

This Blazers team is a joy to watch. It's finally coming together for them a bit. I'm thrilled. With all the awful luck the past few years of losing Brandon Roy to injuries and Greg Oden being an absolute bust. Just imagine this team if they had drafted Durant.

BTW, I fully expect Draymond Green provide Blake Griffin with a full body physical tonight after Griffin repeatedly tried to de-ankle Steph Curry the other night.

It's early still but with the way Indiana is playing, Miami may have a cakewalk until the Finals. The Nets could pose a challenge, but I worry about their age.

Hibbert's just completely fallen apart this season. It's hard to justify playing him in this series right now.

Especially when he clogs up the middle on O.

OKC is in trouble, Indiana is in big trouble, SA may be in trouble, and LAC is in some trouble thus far. The Heat are well-positioned for a three-peat in the early going.

So, on the one hand, great for the NBA and its fans to have this many top teams in real competitive series putting them in early jeopardy. But if the Heat simply roll through the playoffs, yuck.

I really hate that the series I want to see the most is on the west coast completely and therefore on past my bedtime.

This has to be the 1st time a team has had 4 pt plays in the final minute of 2 consecutive games right?

Awful defense by OKC and they are so fortunate to have a chance to win now

Ball dont fucking lie. At the Clips end and Griffin and Jordan are traveling and/or flopping on virtually every possession.

Its the NBA.  The worse call, imho, was the foul on Green where Griffinforce clearly threw his shoulder/arm into him with like a second left on the clock.  In any event, Griffin was amazing tonight.  I still expect this series to go seven and while it seems headed in that direction, I don't necessarily think the Clips will be the team advancing.  If the Dubs go small more often, they will pull Jordan (such an amazing rim protector) and Griffin out to the perimeter and then Golden State can do some damage.

This OKC-Memphis series better go 7. Best series in a long time.

Not even sure it's the best one going on right now, the Houston/Portland series has been insanely good through two games.

Yeah, the Houston/Portland series is on too late for me, so I've yet to watch either of those games. I've got to pick and choose in the early rounds, since there's basically still two months of NBA playoffs and I want to ensure I'm not stabbed by my girlfriend.

Yes, except I don't think the Clippers are in trouble (game 1 loss was flukey, blow-out in game 2, controlled most of game 3), but game 4 will tell that tale. The game I'm really looking forward to is Tor-Brooklyn #3. Brooklyn looks like the better team despite the game 2 loss and would be real competition for the Heat. On the flip side, I'm not sure Brooklyn can survive a 7 game war with their age, so if the Raps can split the next 2 I think it'll go 7 and the Raptors would win a long series.

But it's remarkable to watch OKC and SA -- not just that OKC has lost 2 but that SA could easily be 0-2. Neither seems flukey.

A great first round so far.

I have no idea how the Dubs were in that game at all.  If you'd told me Griffin/Jordan would dominated them down low (Griffin 32 pts on 15-25 shooting, Jordan 14/22/5) plus they would be only 6-21 on 3s (Thompson 2-11), I'd assume they'd have lost by 20.  Somehow they only lost by 2 on a marginal no-call at the end.

Oh and can PJ please stop yelling every time he opens his mouth.

The fact that ESPN has graced us with their two most brutal NBA announcers for a playoff game is disgraceful.

Love how they talk about Terrence Ross as though he averages more than just 10 points per game.
