around the way
Someone is going to unlock Thybulle at some point as a semi-competent offensive player, which will make him VERY valuable. As a Celtics fan, I'm thrilled that the Sixers ran out of patience.
He has 300 games in the league, turns 26 in a couple of weeks, and has never shown the slightest whiff of improvement over his minus 1.5 offensive DARKO. Could happen though.

It doesn’t look good for Thybulle that he’s essentially the same player at 25 as he was at 22. This are the leap seasons for a young player and nothing has happened. He still has the same handle as my nephew. Thybulle is fodder at this point from what I’ve seen…..he’s basically on an Aaron Nesmith curve in that he’ll get more minutes on a blah team and show the same flaws which prevented him from having a larger role on a good team.

Okay, piecing together a bunch of tweets it looks like:

Gordon and 3 2nds (from Grizzlies) to LAC
Kennard to Grizzlies
Wall and Danny Green to HOU

Also may be a pick swap of Bucks/Clippers for houston

Is Danny Green a buyout candidate for Houston? Not much this year, but could be an interesting depth wing

Pat Beverly for Mo Bamba
Positionally the Lakers swap out Bryant for Bamba and Beverley for Reed while adding a bunch of low 2nd rounders while having the new players cost-controlled for next year.

Solid move as they’d probably have to pay Bryant a decent multi-year deal to retain him and they had to move Beverley and/or Schroder. More good moves for LA today.

Nothing has happened in 5 minutes. The outrage. Back to work.

The number of second rounders being floated around is insane. Would love to track how many actually turn into legitimate NBA players.
Handful every year, thing is, if you stink taking a bunch of shots is a good strategy because a 2nd that panned out is one of the best deals in the league financially.

I think it evens out, I think teams have adjusted his ceiling down, and being a PITA in the lockerroom and not making any effort on D when fighting for a role off the bench for the 1 seed sours it some. I think teams see him and PP as guys who if you're lucky are bench scorers, Hyland is younger, but Pritchard is arguably better and he tries.
Pritchard has the intangibles for sure but discussing them in the same sentence as scorers shouldn’t ever occur. Hyland is a legit elite scorer/shot maker right now. The Clippers definitely got into a good buy-low spot.

You realize the Celtics made a trade right?
And i guess you don't relaize that when i posted that they had done nothing yet!

And really this move is nothing more than a warm body and bench depth, i guess better than nothing but nothing to get excited over!

It kills me that Halliburton went at 12 and we couldn't jump up to get him. He would have been a force with the Jays.
Unfortunately trading up to get Halliburton when there was nothing but role-players on the board after him wasn’t really an option.

Given that the Spurs now officially have 967 I’m guessing close to zero.
