If you’re down by 15 you always go for 2 on the first TD. That’s pretty conventional NFL wisdom these days.
Another point on the going for 2 there.... not only do you know how many possessions you need (and whether you can kick deep), you also set yourself up with a chance to win in regulation by going for 2 again.
