Man I hate to ever ding the QB for not making a tackle after a turnover, but wtf was that? The ballcarrier was off balance falling into Lock, the latter basically just hugged him and helped him get his balance then let him go 80+ yards for a TD. The fumble is on the line and the RB, the TD is on Lock.

He definitely gave up on that. Hard not to think that was a split second business decision.

He was hoping Ingram fell, someone else finished the tackle, or that the refs saved him by calling Gordon down by contact.

Whatever, even if they are a #1/2 seed, the Chiefs just aren't that scary. Can't seem to quite figure out some key things all year on both sides of the ball.

Business decisions should happen when you're in danger of getting hurt (from a hard block or having to sacrifice your body in front of a runner with a head of steam). There was no consideration there, just hold on and he goes down. That's the kind of play where you no longer deserve to call yourself a football player. You're relegated to kicker/punter at best.

Man, if you had Denver this game with the points, this would be a rough one. The game was over when they were on the 10. And then all of a sudden. . . .

idk. idc this Broncos team isn't winning anyway. But two Chiefs were in motion when the ball was snapped. This is a bad game.

edit I don't mean in motion like receivers, but moving.

That penalty is huge because I thought they might have gone for it if close on 4th down

Edit: Or they will pick up the first and seal it

It's incredible Lock is even still playing. Guys like him and Daniel Jones were never going to come in to the NFL on to some pretty talentless teams and just turn the thing around without sitting and learning a bit.

Denver's in a really odd spot. Fire Fangio? Trade for yet another QB? They're the poster child team for NFL Limbo

Fangio has obviously been hamstrung by bad QB play but who survives 19-30 with no winning seasons?

Daniel Jones was pretty good his first year when he was running Pat Shurmer's offense. He's been dreadful or hurt since Judge and Garrett were calling plays for him.

Kansas City hasn't lost a division road game since 2017. That is insane.
Agreed. For all of the tomato can talk, how many times have the Pats gone 6-0 in the division in the last 20 years? I bet it is less than 4-5 which is the run KC is on.

even if denver c'ant get a QB this offseason they need a new coach peterson caldwell or hackett GB OC because with better coaching deaver is still 9-8 or even 10-7

Rodgers is an idiot PERIOD. But Rodgers is also an idiot for thinking he's going to find a better situation than the Packers.
I think there's a good chance he retires and if he doesn't then it's about getting one last payday on some other team.

The Chiefs are only undefeated on the road since then (which is still an insane feat). They only went 6-0 once during this stretch (and also in 2016).

Hot take: Minshew is a better QB than Hurts.

It just dawned on me that the nameless band who sang ‘LETS GO EAGLES…LETS GO’ in the cutaway have had to record like thirty different versions of that stupid chorus. Never noticed they’ve been re-using that in this year’s MNF telecasts.
