I think Callender can play in the league.
I think Silva can't. He'd be considered slow for a LB, and his speed is glacial for a SS.
Complete LB overkill but I'd like to see Marcus Howard.

Mayock on Wilhite: He's small, very quick feet, not a heavy hitter or a trained killer, but will be an important special teams player

EDIT: Watching his combine highlight package, he's got great explosiveness. Moves/rotates his hips well on the fly. He's clearly got some speed and athleticism. Maybe he can be molded into something better.

Yet none of the negatives in that review would affect his special teams play.
I don't know..."lacks field awareness" and "hesitate to make plays against the run" doesn't scream good special teams player to me. He's certaintly an athletic guy and could become a great gunner on the punt team, but that might be his limit.
The best part about the pick is that he isn't tall enough to get on the Yankee Cannonball at Canobie Lake.

I like Wilhite. He should be able to help out on special teams, and Mayock wasn't entirely down on his tackling. He said he was decent, so he could turn into a decent nickel.

Someone is going to nab Colt Brennan and will be very very happy. I strongly belive he will be the best QB to come out of this draft by far. His accuracy is incredible, and his arm strength is enough to make all the throws, though he is definetly no Jamarcus. HE possess awesome leadership skills, and his football smarts are phenomenal.
Possibly, but I'm not sure if a Cold weather team takes him, hes from SoCal, played at Hawaii but.. he did play freshman year at Colorado and went to prep school in Worsester

Brennan will be lucky to stick on a roster.
Brennan would have been a top 10 pick according to Kiper if he came out last year, and the dropping of his stock this far is ridiculous. He decided to come back to his senior year and only led his team to a 12-0 record and the sugar bowl. Brennan will be a starter in the NFL eventually
Seeing as he thought the Patriots could trade #7 to Cincy for #9 and Chad Johnson, this is not too far out his realm.
This is not TImmy Chang. I he sucked in college, and Brennan was not the problem in the Sugar Bowl, the Offensive Line could not handle anything, Brennan had no time. I have seen the man play for 2.5 years and he is NFL talent
I didn't say Brennan needs any credit, just that he will be a sucessful NFL QB, and you guys aren't going to change my opinion. I am not defending the teams he played or saying you guys should think hes great, but just that he will suceed in the NFL.
Not that anyone cares, but here's my take on Brennan. And I'm a fan.
He's undersized NFL wise, at least right now. The height isn't an issue, it's the weight. He'll need to put on an additional 20 lbs on his frame to withstand the NFL game. He is a system quarterback, and he fit into Hawaii's system very, very well. I give him credit on accuracy, but less so on the deep ball. Decent enough arm strength for the NFL, and decent mobility.
The problem I have with him is from what I saw of him in the Senior Bowl, both in watching some of the workouts on NFLN, and in watching the entire Senior Bowl. He had a problem grasping the offense during that week, and during a game in which he saw the most vanilla coverages and defensive schemes he'll ever see, he looked bad. Real bad. I know timing is off during these All Star games, but he was late with every read and every throw. Couldn't make the check down throws that you need to make in the NFL.
EDIT: Bottom line, he's decent enough to sign with a team as a Free Agent and will be brought into a camp, I'm sure. I'm betting a team will sign him to the practice squad and see if he can develop both physically and mentally.
