He did say that.soxfan121 said:Am I up again? I kinda need to pick tonight as I'm out all day tomorrow and bsj did say skip him but....?
From the OP:bsj said:Sort of an urgent question as I am about to pick...are we allowed to use the FB spot for a wildcat style player? Says RB/WR/etc...but what about a guy who plays QB too?
Super Nomario said:From the OP:
1. The FB slot on offense should be considered an offensive skill position utility player - you can fill this position with RB, WR, TE, or FB.
From the OP: From the OP: Playing guys wildly out of position is frowned upon and you should be able to make a reasonable argument for why it makes sense.bsj said:I understand that...but I am not sure how a guy who is known as a QB but could play somewhere else (such as a Tebow) aligns with that
SMU_Sox said:Makes sense. I have no objections to it. And please don't get mad at me for saying this but I find it highly ironic that the guy who so strenuously objected (at first) to drafting backup QB's drafts the first... backup QB (ok ok, he isn't a prototypical backup QB in your offense and I'm just kidding around anyway).
I think Pryor is going to be a bust as a QB but he is athletic enough to be an interesting slash threat. Definitely one of the more/most creative picks so far.

Question (and I think this has been answered but holy shit this thread has 81 frigging pages): I'm "supposed" to take another ILB... but I'm running a 4-3. Can I just draft any front seven player?

Manning was the older safety I was thinking of taking... I think he's a good value at this point.RedOctober3829 said:I need to round out my secondary and I believe I have found a nice steal this late in the process. FS Danieal Manning has the versatility to play safety and corner, but he fits with us at free safety. He's an average run defender, but has the speed and the ball skills to play an effective safety.

- Football OutsidersFields is one of the league's better punters, although it can be hard to tell because the Dolphins have had poor punt coverage for the last three seasons.
I think SSF already took him.SMU_Sox said:- Football Outsiders
PFF's Punter Ranks:
2012: 5th
2011: 5th
2010: 2nd
In 2012 his net yards were 11th, his in the 20 was 4th, and his avg. was 50.2 yards, good for best in the NFL.
It's not his fault his coverage sucked. He had the tied for 7th best hangtime.
Brandon Fields, Punter.
